Some people might start winding down this time of year, but not us! We have loads of events coming up starting as early as this weekend!
Follow the Phoenix ActionWe’re just days away from the Fall NABC in Phoenix! If you’re not able to join us (though we hope you do!), you can still catch up on the latest in the online versions of the Daily Bulletin. Look for the link on our homepage starting Nov. 24.
Beat the Bots, Win a Title
The weekend before the Fall NABC (a.k.a., this weekend, Nov. 19-21) will be the 2022 Fall NABC Robot Individual. Not familiar with it? Here’s the basics: Over three days, you’ll play with a robot as your partner onBBO in a stratified event that awards gold and red points and an NABC title.
Gold Points + You = Holly Jolly
Winter Wonderland is back! Okay, it’s still several weeks away (Dec. 20-23), but we want to put it on your radar – especially because there’s something new. Unlike most of our online tournaments, this one will start on a Tuesday. More details in the next ACBL Speakeasy.
Website Spotlight: Archived BulletinsYou probably already know that MyACBL gives you access to online editions of the Bridge Bulletin, but did you know that it’s not limited to the current issue?
Let us fill you in. When you’re in the online viewer of this month’s Bulletin, you can also read an issue from the archive – all the way back to 2005!
That’s more than 15 years of bridge news, columns, puzzles and more. For example, the cover story of the 2010 August issue? The Grand Opening of the ACBL Museum.
So, how to get there? It’s easy! Once you’re on the page looking at this month’s issue, shift your gaze to the upper right. There are several options there, and one of them is ARCHIVES.
Click on that, and all the issues will appear in a column on the left. You can even search them by clicking the white magnifying glass.
