Crusizio wins 10K Swiss

The multinational foursome led by Maximo Crusizio won the 0-10,000 Swiss Teams, posting a two-day total of 130.60 Victory Points. Crusizio, of Argentina, played with Rodrigo Garcia Da Rosa, also of Argentina, S. Reno Cox of Eugene OR and Marshall Lewis of Croatia.

In second with 120.33 Victory Points was Edward Piken’s squad. Piken, of Palos Verdes Peninsula CA, played with Bill Schreiber of Valley Glen CA, Steve Cohen of Las Vegas NV and Viktor Anikovich of Los Angeles.

For the winners, Crusizio and Garcia Da Rosa play for the Argentina national team (although Garcia Da Rosa is originally from Uruguay), while Cox and Lewis have been partners “off and on” for the past 50 years. Lewis has lived in Croatia for the past eight years, where he plays for the Croation national team and is also a coach for the country’s Junior and women’s teams.
