The squad captained by Stan Tulin narrowly won the Jacoby Open Swiss Teams by 0.47 victory points over Bart Bramley’s squad. The winners are Dror Padon and Alon Birman of Israel, Louk Verhees Jr. and Cornelis Van Prooijen of the Netherlands, and (not pictured) David Bakhshi and captain Stan Tulin.
Although each member of the winning team has multiple NABC titles, this is the first victory in the Jacoby Swiss for each of them.
Second in the Jacoby Open Swiss Teams was the Bramley squad: Brian Platnick of Evanston IL, Liam Milne (with son George) and Andy Hung of Australia, Kit Woolsey of Kensington CA, Kevin Rosenberg of Sunnyvale CA and Bart Bramley of Dallas TX.
